On inheriting the survivalist mindset

I am done with design jobs in hopes of healing an entire lineage.

This one has been sitting in my notes in Obsidian for a while. I had this grand vision that I wanted to write out everything I learned from being a designer but it didn’t happen. Or maybe I just don’t have much to say on the craft of design, at least nothing that I could say any better than the many talented designers have already said. I think this is good. I think whatever I could have forced myself to come up with would have been performative.
Note: I use 'survivalist mindset' to describe the psychological drive to prioritize security and survival above all else, not survivalism in the social movement sense.
